The process

How we build your ROI report

01

Usage Analysis

We calculate your true energy deficit: how much your panels generate versus when your household actually consumes it.

02

System Matching

Our engineers specify the exact battery capacity for your array — not a generic off-the-shelf recommendation.

03

Professional Installation

MCS-certified technicians install and commission your system in a single day, with minimal disruption.

Why upgrade now

The three ways a battery pays

Most solar homeowners earn back only 7–15p/kWh on exported energy. Your battery eliminates that waste.

Beat peak tariffs

Store free daytime solar energy and use it during expensive evening peak hours instead of drawing from the grid.

Overnight cheap charging

On off-peak tariffs such as Octopus Go, charge the battery overnight at 7–10p/kWh and use that energy at peak rates.

Seamless integration

AC-coupled batteries retrofit alongside 95% of existing UK solar inverter setups — no panel replacement needed.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us

Do I need to replace my current panels?
No. AC-coupled battery systems work alongside any existing solar PV setup. Your inverter, panels, and wiring remain exactly as they are. We simply add the battery and a hybrid controller.
How long does the battery last?
Modern Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries come with 10-year manufacturer warranties and are rated for over 6,000 full charge cycles — that's more than 16 years of daily use.
Will it fit in my garage?
Most wall-mounted units (e.g., 5–10 kWh) are roughly the size of a large fuse board — around 60cm × 40cm. Our engineer will confirm suitability during the site survey and advise on the best mounting location.
How is the payback period calculated?
We base the estimate on your actual export data (or estimated export from your panel count), the difference between your export tariff and peak tariff, and current battery system prices. All figures are estimates; your personalised report will use your actual meter readings.
Is this connected to any government grant scheme?
No. Saitewd Solar Solutions is a private engineering company. We do not operate under ECO4, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, or any other government subsidy programme. You pay for the installation directly.
